"I really tried to bring Sif a little bit more vulnerability in this film. She has a very big soft spot for Thor. She’s very much in love with him and cares very much about his well-being, as well as her fellow Asgardians’ well-being. So knowing that he’s kind of in charge of that, she really appeals to his softer side and says, “Let me talk to you about this. I care about you, and I see that you’re very distracted and I want to help you focus again because we have a lot to do.” I’ve got to tell you she’d be an awesome girlfriend! I think they should probably take it there eventually. Sif kicks a lot of butt in this movie, but she also opens her heart a lot."

Ah misdirection… What sweet chaos you bring…
Life is so unfair! Why can’t I buy this comic?!?!
I remember in one of his very early stories, Loki comes to Earth, gets Thor out of the way—hammer under a force field, I think—and just wanders around playing pranks on people. Turning cars to ice cream and candy, little jokes like that. Then he just hides behind walls laughing. “Hyuk hyuk! I’ll fix it up in a minute.” He’s entirely benign in that story, an irritating nuisance rather than an actual menace, which makes me wonder—Loki being a living story and all—if he got warped by Thor’s decision to be a super hero. Because anyone opposing the super hero is automatically a super villain, right? And Loki just gets nastier and nastier, until by AVENGERS #1 he’s a cackling maniac. “Human dolts!” And, obviously, as the stories get darker and grimmer and more serious, so does he.
He’s still capable of some pranks, though. Most of his villainy in the Simonson era has a goofy side to it; turning Thor into a frog, tricking Balder into chopping his head off for a joke. You can kind of see hints of that original merry prankster, hidden under all the evil."
AGENT OF ASGARD #1
"I’m actually the all-mother’s undercover operative in the cause of niceness and puppies"
OMG this line got me laughing out loud XD
ah, midgard songs. once i despised these bittersweet little snatches of hope and loss— so short and petty, like their lives, so far from the roaring horns and soaring strings of home—but these days…well, i’m learning to see the magic in them.
Why don’t I have money to buy these comics :(
